Fénelon Aperitif
According to legend, the Archbishop of Cambrai, François de Salignac de la Mothe-Fénelon, known simply as “Fénelon” enjoyed this aperitif regularly. It is a traditional aperitif typical of the South-West of France. Its ruby-red robe and its sugary taste unveil a pure harmony of walnut exquisiteness and blackcurrant sweetness.
To be served pure, chilled, in an aperitif-style glass or poured into a half melon: pour a glass of Fénelon into the melon, leave to chill for 10 minutes in the fridge, then enjoy.
